Shimmering Shadows is a unique Weapon in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. Weapons in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem are the player's primary offensive option to inflict damage on Enemies and Bosses and come in varied applications.
The battle for creation was raging. Old alliances showed great heroism but were losing the fight nonetheless. To avoid the end of times, Moros, the Primordial of Dusk, rode into battle on a gigantic shadow chimaera whose wings covered the entire battlefield.
He flew directly to his offspring to confront him: the Fallen conqueror leading this unstoppable army. Knowing he would not win the fight in time, Moros tethered himself to his foe and banished himself into the abyss. Both of them were trapped by the ritual, but his dreaded shadow-beast survived and flew away. A scale lost by the creature was then forged into this shield, and it might be the only evidence that the creature ever existed.
