Soulsbane is a unique Weapon in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem. Weapons in Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem are the player's primary offensive option to inflict damage on Enemies and Bosses and come in varied applications.
Originally used by a Frost Tormentor, it was salvaged and researched by Vargian clan of occultists. Earl Tolna ordered them to repair it so that he could wield it in a final resort against an invading Republican regiment. Such a command was unheard of, and was guaranteed to get the Earl court-martialed.
However, with his first blow hundreds of souls burst out of the weapon, flooding the battlefield. They wreaked havoc on both armies, killing and consuming the mortal soldiers indiscriminately. In the end, all that remained were corpses, cold to the touch, and this mace, a shining prison, daring someone more worthy to wield it.
